PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has carried out a major administrative reshuffle, transferring and posting 40 senior bureaucrats, including special secretaries, director generals and managing directors.
According to a notification issued by the Establishment Department, Akbar Ali Khan (PCS, BS-20), managing director of the KP Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KPPRA), has been posted as secretary of the KP Public Service Commission, while Mohammad Fakhr Alam (PCS, BS-20), secretary provincial ombudsman, has been appointed managing director of the KP Education Foundation.
Perwaiz (PCS/PMS-20), managing director of the KP Urban Mobility Authority (KPUMA), has been posted as special secretary agriculture, while Ali Qadir Safi (PMS, BS-20), special secretary establishment, has been appointed managing director KPPRA. Robin Haider Bukhari (PMS, BS-20), DG Prosecution KP, has been directed to report to the Establishment Department.
Zubair Ahmed (PMS, BS-20) has been moved from special secretary home and tribal affairs to special secretary finance, while Iftikhar Ahmed (PMS, BS-20), MD KP Private Schools Regulatory Authority, has been posted as DG KPUMA. Asfandyar Khatak (PMS, BS-20), DG PDMA, has been appointed member Board of Revenue.
Ghulam Saeed Khan (PMS, BS-20) has been posted as DG Industries KP, while Syed Mohammad Suhail (PMS, BS-20) has been appointed secretary provincial ombudsman. Fozia Iqbal (IRS, BS-20), DG KP Revenue Authority, has been relieved to join a federal assignment, and Mansoor Qaiser (PMS, BS-20), MD KPTEVTA, has been directed to report to the Establishment Department.
Rehan Gul Khattak (PMS, BS-20) has been posted as inspector general of prisons KP, while Mohammad Usman (PAS, BS-19), IG prisons, has been appointed DG KP Culture and Tourism Authority.
Several BS-19 officers were also reshuffled. Iftikhar Alam (PMS) has been posted as special secretary elementary and secondary education, Hamidur Rehman (PAS) as DG Land Use and Building Control Authority, and Khalid Iqbal (PAS) as chief economist at the Planning and Development Department. Iqbal Hussain (PAS) has been posted as additional secretary health.
Mian Abdul Qadir Shah (PAS) has been appointed managing director KP Education Foundation, Shahrukh Ali Khan (PAS) additional secretary energy and power, and Mohammad Wasif Saeed (PAS) DG Sustainable Development Unit. Arifullah Awan (PAS) has been posted as DG PDMA, while Asadullah Khan (PMS) has been appointed DG Environmental Protection Authority.
Further postings include Habibullah Arif (PMS) as special secretary energy and power, Mohammad Khalid Zaman (PMS) as director social welfare, and Mohammad Rafiq Khan Mohmand as DG Prosecution KP. Irum Naz (PMS) has been posted as DG KPRA, while Mohammad Shoaib (PMS) has been appointed additional secretary establishment.
Mohammad Fawad (PMS) has been posted as DG Galiyat Development Authority, Javed Iqbal (PMS) as DG Public Schools Regulatory Authority, and Mohammad Abdullah Shah (PMS) as deputy commissioner Shangla. Kamran Khan has been appointed DG Local Government, while Dr Qasim Ali Khan (PMS) has been posted as additional secretary sports and youth affairs.
Manzoor Ahmed Afridi has been appointed DG Education Monitoring Authority, Kashif Iqbal Jillani (PMS) DG Food Safety and Halal Food Authority, and Shabir Khan (PMS, BS-18) deputy secretary higher education. Yousaf Ali (PMS, BS-18) has been posted as deputy secretary finance, Rehmat Ali (PMS, BS-18) as DG Kaghan Development Authority, and Mohsin Habib (PMS, BS-18) as administrator Auqaf KP.
