The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that all Inland Revenue field formations across Pakistan will remain open on Saturday, May 23, 2026, and Sunday, May 24, 2026, to continue routine tax collection activities.

According to an official notification issued by the Revenue Division, all Large Taxpayer Units (LTUs), Medium Tax Offices (MTOs), Corporate Tax Offices (CTOs), and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) will observe normal working hours during the weekend.

The decision has been taken to ensure uninterrupted collection of taxes and duties and to facilitate taxpayers in meeting their payment and compliance obligations before the close of the revenue collection period.

The FBR has directed all field formations to remain fully operational and ensure smooth functioning of tax-related services throughout the weekend.
