Hyderabad, Pakistan:The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has released a new notification (S.R.O. 1717(I)/2024) establishing updated fair market values for immovable properties in Hyderabad District. Effective November 1, 2024, this notification replaces the previously issued S.R.O. 1547(I)/2021 from December 1, 2021, and introduces revised property valuations for various areas and property categories within Hyderabad.
This adjustment is made under the authority of sub-section (4) of section 68 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, and aims to better reflect current market conditions, fostering transparency in property transactions across the district.
