Peshawar, Pakistan:The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued notification S.R.O. 1710(I)/2024, establishing updated fair market values for various property categories in Peshawar District. Effective November 1, 2024, this notification supersedes the previous rates outlined in S.R.O. 358(I)/2022, dated March 2, 2022.
The revised valuation applies to residential, commercial, and agricultural properties, including nehri (irrigated), barani (rain-fed), and non-agricultural (banjar) areas.
These updates, enacted under sub-section (4) of section 68 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, aim to better align property values with market conditions, ensuring transparency in property transactions across Peshawar District.
