Islamabad, Pakistan: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) offices will remain open until midnight today, October 14, 2024, as the deadline for filing income tax returns for the fiscal year 2024 approaches.
The FBR announced that over 3.6 million taxpayers had already filed their returns by September 30. 24 News
The extension granted earlier this month was due to technical issues with the FBR’s IT system, which have now been resolved.
The FBR has emphasized that there will be no further extensions to the deadline.
