Islamabad, Pakistan:The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced an updated valuation for immovable properties in Bahawalnagar District, effective November 1, 2024. The revised property values are outlined in S.R.O. 1681(I)/2024, as per the authority granted under sub-section (4) of section 68 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001. This notification supersedes the previous rates set forth in S.R.O. 1264(I)/2022 from August 1, 2022.
The new rates apply to residential, commercial, and agricultural property categories, covering open plots and superstructures, as detailed in Table-I, columns (9) to (12). These changes are designed to ensure fair market alignment and improve transparency in property transactions throughout Bahawalnagar District.
