Bannu, Pakistan:The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued a notification (S.R.O. 1682(I)/2024) announcing updated fair market values for properties within the Bannu District. These revised rates, effective from November 1, 2024, have been set under the authority of sub-section (4) of section 68 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
The FBR’s updated valuation aims to reflect current market trends more accurately, ensuring fair assessments and greater transparency in property transactions. This notification specifically applies to all residential properties in recognized housing societies across Bannu District.
