The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) has achieved a historic milestone in tax collection, reflecting the province’s economic resilience and effective financial strategies. Advisor to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister on Finance and Inter-Provincial Coordination, Muzzamil Aslam, announced that KPRA recorded an unprecedented revenue collection in January, setting a new benchmark for the authority.

According to KPRA’s latest figures, the authority collected an impressive Rs. 28.92 billion in taxes from July to January. This represents a significant 46 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Muzzamil Aslam highlighted that KP’s non-tax revenue now exceeds 55 percent, contributing to an overall revenue increase beyond 50 percent.
