KARACHI: The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has granted another extension for filing Agricultural Income Tax (AIT) returns, moving the deadline to November 15, 2025, according to an official notification issued on Thursday.
The filing deadline, originally set for September 30, had already been extended to October 31, 2025. This marks the second extension, aimed at giving taxpayers additional time to meet their obligations without incurring penalties or surcharges.
An SRB spokesperson said the extension was granted to facilitate taxpayers experiencing delays in completing their returns, noting that the measure seeks to “ensure maximum compliance and provide sufficient time for accurate filing.”
To streamline the process, SRB has upgraded its digital filing portal, allowing users to register using their CNIC and active mobile number. The portal now supports secure tax payments via banking apps, ATMs, and over-the-counter channels, enhancing ease of access for filers.
As part of its digital transformation drive, SRB has also published guidelines, tutorial videos, and FAQs on its website to assist taxpayers with the filing process.
The board urged taxpayers to take advantage of the extended deadline and file their returns by November 15, 2025, to avoid fines or other legal consequences.
