SRB Rules Out Further Extension for Agricultural Income Tax Return Filing

KARACHI– The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has made it clear that no additional extensions will be granted for the filing of Agricultural Income Tax (AIT) returns beyond November 15, 2025.

In its latest announcement, the SRB reminded all eligible taxpayers that the deadline of November 15 is final and must be strictly observed. The Board emphasized that no further relaxation will be provided under any circumstances, urging taxpayers to complete the filing process without delay.

To simplify compliance, SRB has provided a fully digital platform for online registration, return submission, and payment through its official portal. Taxpayers can conveniently file their AIT returns using their CNIC and registered mobile number, while payments can be made via banking apps, ATMs, or over-the-counter channels.

The Board noted that the filing deadline had already been extended multiple times — first from September 30 to October 31, and later to November 15, 2025 — to allow taxpayers sufficient time to meet their obligations and avoid penalties.

As part of its ongoing digital transformation initiative, the SRB has also introduced user support features, including tutorial videos, step-by-step filing guides, and an extensive FAQ section to assist taxpayers.

Taxpayers have been urged to utilize these online resources and complete their filings before the final date to steer clear of fines or legal action.

The SRB reiterated that the move is aimed at promoting voluntary compliance, transparency, and ease of doing business in Sindh’s taxation system, ensuring a smoother experience for all agricultural income taxpayers.
