Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that the deadline for companies to file their annual income tax returns and related compliance documents is 31st December 2025.
The FBR has made it clear that no automatic extensions will be granted. Any company requiring extra time must submit a formal extension request before the due date. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
The authorities warned that failure to comply with the deadline may result in penalties, fines, and legal action under the Income Tax Ordinance. Companies are strongly advised to complete their filings promptly to avoid any compliance issues.
