The Authority has urged taxpayers to save this number in their mobile phones and share their own WhatsApp contact details with KPRA through the same number. By doing so, taxpayers will receive timely information regarding policies, compliance reminders, service updates, and other essential notifications.
This initiative is part of KPRA’s ongoing efforts to modernize public service delivery, reduce communication gaps, and ensure transparency in tax administration. The Authority believes that shifting to WhatsApp—Pakistan’s most widely used messaging platform—will help it reach a larger audience quickly and efficiently.
A bilingual message—shared in both English and Urdu—highlights the importance of this step and encourages taxpayers to register their numbers for uninterrupted updates. The announcement appears under KPRA’s “Latest Posts” section alongside other official communications, such as updates on anti-corruption initiatives, revenue service achievements, and public awareness messages.
