Pakistan Customs Announces Mega Public Auction of Imported Cars, SUVs, and Commercial Vehicles

Karachi: The Pakistan Customs has announced a large-scale public auction of imported cars, SUVs, buses, and commercial vehicles scheduled to take place at Gadani on February 26, 2026. The auction is being organized by the Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Gadani to dispose of seized, old, and unclaimed vehicles through a transparent bidding process.

The auction offers a valuable opportunity for transporters, traders, logistics companies, and the general public to purchase vehicles at competitive market rates. A wide variety of vehicles will be available, including passenger buses, trucks, LTV pickups, vans, cars, and SUVs.

Among the commercial vehicles listed for auction are several Hino trucks and passenger buses, along with multiple Daewoo buses suitable for transport operations. The LTV category includes Toyota Hilux pickups, Suzuki pickups, CNG rickshaws, and an unregistered Toyota Hiace van.

The cars and SUVs segment features popular imported models such as Toyota Premio, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Fielder, Toyota Wish, Toyota Axio, Toyota Hilux Surf, Daihatsu Mira, and Suzuki Alto. Some vehicles are subject to mandatory verification by the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) before transfer of ownership.

Officials stated that all vehicles will be available for physical inspection prior to the auction, allowing bidders to review condition reports and verification details at the venue.

The initiative aims to enhance government revenue collection while ensuring transparency and fair pricing in the disposal of confiscated or abandoned vehicles, making quality imported vehicles accessible to buyers through an open public auction process.
