Sindh Revenue Board Launches Online Portal for Agricultural Tax Payments

In a move towards digital transformation and taxpayer convenience, the Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has officially launched its online portal for agricultural tax payments. The initiative aims to modernize the tax system, reduce paperwork, and provide farmers with an easy, transparent, and secure way to fulfill their tax obligations.

Through the newly launched portal, taxpayers can create their online accounts, register their agricultural land, and pay due taxes without visiting SRB offices. The system has been designed to ensure transparency, minimize human interaction, and curb delays often faced in manual procedures.

Farmers and landowners will now be able to:

  • Register themselves by providing basic details such as name, CNIC, district, and contact information.
  • Receive a secure login ID and password for future use.
  • Calculate and pay their agricultural income tax dues directly through the SRB platform.

Speaking on the launch, SRB officials highlighted that this step aligns with the Sindh government’s broader vision of digital governance and will significantly ease the tax compliance process for citizens.

Experts believe the digital move will not only make tax collection more efficient but also encourage voluntary compliance by making the system accessible and user-friendly.
