In a landmark move toward digital tax governance, the FBR has been authorized to access national data in real time from institutions such as NADRA, FIA, and provincial departments. The initiative aims to enhance transparency, improve tax compliance, and reduce evasion by linking records on identity, travel, property, vehicles, and utilities.

CTO Warns Tax Lawyer of Legal Action Over Allegations Against Tax Officials

The Corporate Tax Office (CTO) Islamabad has threatened legal action against tax lawyer Waheed Shahzad Butt for allegedly making unfounded accusations against tax officials.
